Kaelan has stepped up to help more in the kitchen the last few days since Devin's absence. She made homemade biscuits for Saturday's breakfast and made the pesto pizza that we took to church today for our potluck finger food lunch. This week she'll be making our loaf bread, dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls and flatbread....and the muffins and pancakes as well. She has let me know that she doesn't mind mixing up the pancake batter, but she doesn't like cooking the pancakes! Maybe Aaron can do that on Friday.
I have been canning a lot this weekend and hope to get a good bit more done this week as well. We are expecting Lauren, Chase, Elisha and Ashtyn Claire for a few days and my sister and niece as well for one night. I am also dreaming of getting back into a full school mode, but with everything else going on it does prove difficult at times.
Sunday is Father's Day and Devin's 23rd birthday. She was actually born on Father's Day!! She will not be home for her birthday, but will be home on the following day. Jeff is filling in as worship leader at a local church on Father's Day, so I am not sure what the rest of us will be doing or what our Father's Day menu will end up being. Of course, every day around here is quickly subject to change!

Sounds yummy! Can we join you? I have never really tried hummus. Anyway, your menu looks good.
Hi, Rachel!! Hop a plane and come on over! Let's see, with 11 of us here all week, my sis and niece on Tues makes 13 and with seven Ladybugs will round up with an even 20! That sounds like a party to me!
Hi Anita! This is Heather, from CHOICE. I have added you to my reader.
My oldest son (9) loves to cook. I encourage this.
Thank you for sharing your menu plan. Reading the menu plans of others helps to give me ideas and tomorrow I am grocery shopping, so tonight is the night I sit down and menu plan...good timing!
