This was under my Christmas tree this morning! I think a real penguin could live here this week! It's cold in the south today! The sun is shining, though, so maybe I can talk my middle children into searching for some holly in the woods and cutting pine and cedar to decorate the dining room.
How's the weather where you are? Are you busy preparing heart and home for Christmas? We have been able to keep up with our Jesse Tree devotions every night except one (which is why we start a few days early!). Our worship time also involves singing hymns and Christmas carols. Last night Kaelan accompanied our singing on the piano while the rest of us gathered around the piano and tree. We then headed to the dining room with our Bibles for scripture reading and devotions around the Advent wreath. Jackson is in charge of placing our Jesse tree ornaments on the tree each night. I will share pictures of our tree, ornaments and Advent wreath later.
