I'm doing pretty good with that list...not the 8pm bedtime and not the no snacking between meals but we try to do 5-6 small meals a day...requiring meals between the meals. I'd add to the list...teach a child to not speak when entering a room or when adults are talking. Interuptions in our household are huge! Any wisdom on how to teach a 6 year old that saying "excuse me" 50 times in 30 seconds is not waiting patiently.
Love your blog...love your menus...just got the Artisian bread book and made the pizza dough at lunch yesterday from your recommendation. The whole family LOVED it! Blessings and thank you for sharing. So I'm going to choose to focus on number 8 for a while. "Give children nothing they cry for." And see how far I can get with it. :o)Deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16370393893728279355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7689362661450736563.post-15134812408318228852011-08-04T10:15:25.306-05:002011-08-04T10:15:25.306-05:00Humbling! I let the end of a pregnancy and having a baby be my excuse to get lax on the rules and teach the children how to behave and love each other. I am paying for it now. I believe it is time to follow these rules myself and re-claim their hearts from the chaos.
Amber.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
